One year of CDE India: Indian Museums Against Climate Change

Indian Museums Against Climate Change (IMACC) is a programme by ReReeti Foundation who have led on coordinating a Culture Declares hub in India to engage India’s museum community in the fight against the current Climate and Ecological Emergency. The first IMACC Annual Report has been published and its been brilliant to read back on the learnings, actions and engagements from their first year in action!

The report reviews the four strands of activity initiated by IMACC:

  • Capacity building workshops
  • Placing an eco-lens on museum collections
  • Sustainable practices in daily operations
  • Enabling public dialogue

It offers reflections and the next steps for the programme – a fantastic resource of inspiration and learning from the first year of this initiative.

For more information on the IMACC project, Rereeti welcomes you to contact them by writing to info@rereeti.org.
