XYZ Poetics
I am a poet, writer and artist working under pseudonym based in Gorleston on Sea, Norfolk. I am also a post-graduate student studying Environmental Management.
Declaration
I am declaring an emergency because of the profound sadness and extreme frustration I feel about what I see happening in the world around me. We are constantly experiencing the effects of climate change and biodiversity loss but we are failing to join up the dots that link these effects together, afraid of the catastrophic picture they will create. The problem is as more dots appear, the picture will begin to resolve itself. My action involves individual steps to minimise my own impact on the world and expressing my feelings towards the crisis through my work. I am also trying to take small actions to highlight and resolve issues in my local community.
