Pippa Bailey

I am a freelance producer/ director living and working on Wangal Land (Sydney), passionate about the vital role of arts and culture in addressing the Climate Emergency as we adapt to our changing world.

I declare an ecological emergency as a renewal of my long term vows to protect the earth, look after country and people, transition cultural practices to low carbon local expressions that can help us transition to a more sustainable future. I commit to Climate Action at the centre of my life everyday, to communicating widely about the need to transition away from fossil fuels, reimagining the way we live our lives to achieve social transformation as we learn to live in a changing world. I promise to deepen my understanding of the evolving issues and apprentice myself to First Nations leaders and others with greater knowledge of and relationship to the natural world. I want to stay open and learn the new skills needed to adapt quickly.
