I am a poet, performer, creative producer and participatory artist based in Teesside.
Declaration
I am Declaring climate emergency because I think about it every day, I see it everywhere, I struggle to contain or process the grief and worry of it.
This statement is a place-holder while I work out how to express the truth of it, and while I plan my actions. Right now I am working through the blueprint for change and inviting other Teesside creatives to join me. I'm attending the first round of Earth Talk training, learning ways to open and hold creative climate conversations with others. I'm auditing my materials and processes. I'm writing from nature again, like I used to as a child. By February 2025 I will have produced a long-form poem as a performance and a physical art work, which will be shown at ARC Stockton, and which will act as my full Declaration.
