Declaration
Corridor is a contemporary arts organisation that works with artists to create exhibitions, projects and workshops rooted in collaboration, care and access. Our practice focuses on connecting communities with artists in ways that bring together generations and voices that may not otherwise meet. We prioritise working with people who often feel marginalised by creating supported spaces where ideas, experiences and concerns can be shared through creative practice, particularly through film and photography as accessible ways of expressing lived experience and perspective.
Across our work, from exhibition making to artist-led workshops and international collaboration, we aim to be mindful of environmental impact in ways that are proportionate to our size and capacity, while still supporting our ambitions. This includes considering materials, production methods and formats, and keeping travel to a minimum where possible through local partnerships and digital exchange. We believe well-facilitated creative projects can offer meaningful opportunities for young people to share both their concerns and their ideas about the environment with wider communities, contributing to more connected and thoughtful exchange.
