The Offer: Collaboration in Crisis
Collaboration in Crisis
Revisit The Offer from 29 April 2020 – Collaboration in Crisis. With sessions in the morning (11am–12:30pm) and evening (7:30–9pm).
The origins and development of our first local CDE community and the emergence of Pop-up Climate Emergency Hubs – reflect on the experience, learning, and next steps with Kirklees CDE founders Mike Prior and Anna Davidson, University Of Huddersfield; leading environmental lawyer and founding influence of Think and Do Camden, Farhana Yamin and Climate Museum UK member and CDE coordinator Victoria Burns.
Kirklees Culture Declares formed in July 2019 they are a local network of individuals and organisations in the Arts and Culture sector who have taken inspiration from part of the Culture Declares Emergency movement. They work with and support their community and local government in tackling the Climate & Ecological Emergency and we call on others to do the same.
Think And Do Camden is a community space to give people in Camden the chance to come together to develop ideas and projects tackling the climate and ecological crisis. The creation of a new civic space has the support of the local authority and is a direct follow on from Camden’s Citizens’ Assembly on the Climate Crisis held in July 2019
“The Offer” online events series
The Offer and The Evening Offer are a response to the context of Coronavirus and the devastating impact it is having on our society, and not least on the creative and cultural community. It is a space for anyone involved in or interested in a cultural response to the climate and ecological emergency to gather, to question, to share, and to support each other.
They will be happening every Wednesday, initially during April. The Offer at 11am for conversation-based sessions and The Evening Offer at 7.30pm for creative and regenerative sessions . If anyone is interested in making an offer and leading a session please do get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org or via our social media.
