Calling all writers, spoken word artists, poets and performers aged 18 – 25!
Join the award-winning Letters to the Earth team to explore the climate and ecological emergency and what it means to you.
Following an open conversation with guest artist-activists including Zena Edwards about their work, you’ll have the opportunity to explore your own creative responses to the crisis.
In this participatory workshop we’ll explore the perspectives of both the human and the non-human. A letter to the Earth can be to – or from – anything on this planet: the earth, another species, a particular place, the future, a person in a position of power. What’s important to you?
Following the workshop, at 5.30pm, you will have the opportunity to perform your work to an invited audience.
