Declaration
I work concurrently on intertwined causes of social justice and environmental justice, because it is the poor and the marginalized who suffer the consequences of climate catastrophe. It is hard to know what will motivate people to recognize what we have to do to mitigate climate change, but we can start by recognizing the challenge. Perhaps the biggest forces for change might be empathy and love, as we see the consequences for the places and people we hold dear.
