Declaration
For a cultural sector to empower others, we must also empower one another. I support Culture Declares Emergency for raising awareness of the challenge of climate change and broader sustainability issues. My own work is about helping museums, their partners and others to accelerate and amplify their own contributions to climate action, the Sustainable Development Goals and nature conservation. Culture is not some fancy buildings containing fancy things: culture is what we do, each of us, all of us, every day. Raising awareness of the climate crisis, and acting on what we want to do and can do is one way for change to happen.
