Fiona Campbell
Declaration
My work is situated in the expanded field of sculpture, drawing and installation, my projects often incorporating community engagement. At the root is the notion of interconnectedness throughout life, nature’s cyclical persistence and transformation. The emphasis is on environmental concerns, pressing issues about human exploitation of nature. My use of found objects, discarded and recycled materials relates to the issue of waste, and the wider subject of our relationship with matter, nature, and ourselves.
