Declaration

Working in museums, particularly in collections care, comes from a desire to protect material heritage for the future, while making it accessible for long term cultural conversations to take place. Undertaking conservation work with an eye 100 years to the future is increasingly difficult during an ecological emergency which is currently threatening cultures around the world, and which is due to get much worse. Joining others in declaring emergency helps me hope that this future may exist.
