This is part of The Sign of The Underground, an Arts Council England-funded commission by Jaime Jackson from Salt Road, Cannock Chase District Council, and The Great Imagining, in partnership with CDE Birmingham Hub.

The visual work was created with an AI machine learning model trained on a dataset of 150 school pupils who drew the lines on their hands as if they were their own roots.
