Tacaeddish
We are a professional folk chamber music duo made up of Felicitas Gätzschmann/clarinet, Stefanie Waegner/cello. We perform our own arrangements of Klezmer, Tango and Celtic music.
Declaration
Tacaeddish recognises the climate and biodiversity emergency and seeks to play its part towards creating a fair, safe and sustainable future for all humans and non-human life. Our first album was produced with zero plastic, and a part of the income from every sold album goes to the tree planting charity Bergwaldprojekt. We travel 100% sustainably to all rehearsals and concerts, using e-bikes, public transport, and occasionally a rented e-car. We incorporate the topic of climate change and sustainability in all our spoken concert introductions. Tacaeddish actively seeks to perform on stages, festivals and other venues which subscribe to contributing to the social-ecological transformation. Both performers of Tacaeddish follow a vegetarian or vegan diet. They believe strongly that culture can and should play a central role in driving along positive change.
