I came across Culture Declares through my postgraduate research into how crisis mediates/modulates curatorial and collections management practice in museums and archives. Like the ecological crisis, the sector's response is urgent and happening in real-time; I am glad to find a network that will direct me to activity across disciplines and communities of practice in a global sphere, support my commitment, and guide my activism when I inevitably face systemic barriers or complex decisions.
