Declaration
This is the time to regenerate our relationship with nature. There are so many wonder-ful opportunities to engage with all elements of our environments; practical, multi-sensory, knowledge-based, story-telling and long-term intergenerational experiences that can open us all up to how the 21st century could play out: With ecosystems burgeoning everywhere, with human systems that are always viewed as part of these systems, with communities made up of all species in a neighbourhood, with time to spend developing innate relationships with all around us - and telling stories that light up imaginations, there is much to be hopeful for. Now is the time to invite all, locally, into this inevitable evolution of western culture in the 21st century - through local environmental projects; simple, interspecies forged and aimed at fostering interconnected relationships that last beyond a lifetime.
