Declaration

Several crises appear to be on the verge of happening in this troubled world we live in, where the environmental is one of the most visible, a consequence of the “Anthropocene”, generating a collective concern with the future. Concern brings us closer to a notion of care. Care in a more than human world where nature and culture, society and science, technology and organism, humans and other living forms have now blurry boundaries.
Recently, I have developed a work in Porto, where profound urban changes are already underway and many others are planned, making it a perfect laboratory for the inclusive, transversal and imaginative city. I have rescued personal narratives, emotions and reflections about a specific place, with a question in the background: what is sustainability when everything that is projected is yet to be realized?
I am joining because I believe the only way to have any sort of impact is through collaboration.
